We place great importance on the sharing of information that happens during face to face enrolment interviews for each and every new family and their children who wish to enrol at our school. Having an enrolment interview ahead of time can ensure that the school can plan well ahead to best meet an individual student’s needs and to ensure that the necessary staffing and infrastructure is in place.
Albany Creek State School recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the
school's catchment area.

Out of Catchment Enrolments
We welcome expressions of interest for enrolment for students residing outside the school's catchment area. To submit an expression of interest for an out of catchment enrolment please email a completed an Out of Catchment Waiting list form to acssenrolments@albanycreekss.eq.edu.au Upon receipt of this form the School Principal will determine if there is capacity to accept the enrolment in the year level/s requested.

Prep 2026
Expressions of Interest for out of catchment enrolments for Prep 2026 will open on 1st March 2025. Expressions of Interest are made by completing a Waiting List Form for 2026 and forwarding it to the school to acssenrolments@albanycreekss.eq.edu.au or in person on or after 1st March 2025. Forms will be recorded by time and date of receipt. Offers for out of catchment places will commence in week 1 of Term 3 2025 in order of receipt of the waiting list form. Once an offer is made and accepted completed enrolment forms will be requested.
