Enrolment application

1. Children must be aged five (5) years by 30 June in the year of the proposed attendance. Refer to Education Queensland online calculator​ to calculate your child's eligibility.
   
   
2. Enrolment Management - Albany Creek State School recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area.
   
   
3. Out of catchment students applying for enrolment at Albany Creek State School are placed on a waiting list, assessed in order of receipt of the completed Out of Catchment Waiting List Form. Acceptance of Out of Catchment Waiting List forms for Prep 2027 will commence from 1^st March 2026. Forms will not be accepted before this time. Offers for out of catchment places will commence in week 2 of Term 3, Monday 21st  July 2026.

4. Enrolments will not be approved without enrolling staff sighting your child’s birth certificate. An alternative to the birth certificate will be considered where it is not possible to obtain a birth certificate (e.g. child born in country without birth registration system. Passport or visa documents will suffice.) This does not include failure to register a birth or to order a birth certificate. ​
