The Albany Creek State School prep precinct is part of the larger school campus and supports four very well resourced classrooms. Our competent teachers and teacher aides work as a dedicated, diligent and collaborative team to meet the needs of each student to ensure that the student's transition to formal education is rewarding and memorable.
At Albany Creek State School we believe young children learn best when they are actively engaged in purposeful learning experiences that take account of each student's interests, strengths, capabilities and phases of development.

9.00am to 10.00am or 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Join us for a Tour and Talk on our annual Open Day. This is a great opportunity to view class displays, meet our student leaders, tour the school grounds and talk to our Leadership Team. There is no need to RSVP to this event simply turn up to the session that suits you the best.

Booklists
Booklists will be emailed to enrolled prep families in October and will also be available to download from the school website www.albanycreekss.eq.edu.au booklists The book packs will be available to order online or purchase at the Play and Visit morning.
Class allocation
During the last week of the school year, parents and caregivers will receive notification, via SMS and email, of their student's future prep class. Maps and starting school information can be found here.
